My children love it and are proud of the achievement

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

Always having the audience in mind, as what's in my mind may not transfer well for others to understand.  

Do you have any suggestions to help people become a better writer? If so, what are they?

Make notes, whether that's on paper or on your phone or even a voice note. It's helps when your putting your thoughts together.  

What do you think makes a good story?

A story or narrative that the reader can follow and perhaps a personal touch.

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?

A designer or something creative, so this fits that I suppose!

What is your favorite book?

Picture book would probably be 'My Perfect Pet' but I also love poetry, both classical and modern.
